Custom Presentations

SPC_Slide_Overview_1.jpg

Smart Planning for Communities will create a presentation on sustainability customized for your community. Smart Planners are located in every region of the province providing localized knowledge of rural issues and small to mid-sized community planning processes.

We pride ourselves on province-wide energy expertise and our involvement in relationship-building processes between local and First Nations governments. We recognize that Regional Districts, smaller and rural municipalities, and First Nations communities often require tailored information along their journey to sustainability.

Past custom presentation topics include:

  • Preparing for an Integrated Community Sustainability Planning Process
  • Introduction to Sustainability Planning and Frameworks
  • Seeking Common Ground for Community Sustainability
  • Adaptation Action Planning (with FBC’s Climate Change program)
  • Communicating Effectively and Respectfully with First Nation Communities
  • Smart Energy Planning for Remote and Rural Communities
  • Meaningful Engagement and Community Sustainability Planning

If you are a member of a BC local or First Nations government and are interested in bringing us to your community please contact:
